My Approach
Hi, I’m Rhiannon.
I work with individuals and couples who are carrying the impact of trauma, especially as it intersects with pregnancy, parenthood, intimacy, and relationships. Many of the people I support are navigating grief around their own childhood, fear of repeating painful patterns with their children, or anxiety around childbirth, parenting, or closeness due to past experiences.
Our work together is slow, gentle, and grounded in creating safety. We begin by building a space where you can notice what is happening inside you with care and without judgment. Through conversation, mindfulness, and reflection, we create room for your body and mind to process what has been held for too long and to begin to experience something new.
This work may be woven into other areas of therapy, including perinatal, couples, or sex therapy, depending on what feels most supportive for you. I approach all of my work through a trauma informed lens and hold the whole person and the whole relationship in mind, with the intention of supporting healing, connection, and the possibility of stopping painful cycles from being passed forward.
At times, this work may feel challenging. Practicing vulnerability, self exploration, and new ways of relating can feel uncomfortable or tender. You will not be doing this alone. I will be with you as you move through this process, offering presence, guidance, and tools along the way.
I welcome all identities and lived experiences, and I believe everyone deserves a space where their story can be held with care and where healing can unfold at a pace that feels right.
Together in therapy, we will:
Practice self exploration
Build skills for emotional safety and regulation
Create space for healing
Explore how past experiences show up in the present
Support connection with yourself, your partner, and your family
Build a foundation of safety in your body and relationships
Let’s work together to create space for you to heal and reconnect at your own pace.

During the free consultation call, we will spend up to 30 minutes talking about what you hope to get out of therapy and how I can support you and your relationship. This is the space that allows you to get to know myself as a therapist and allows me to get to know you to ensure we are a good fit for each other. If we both decide to move forward in working on your goals together, we will chat about any necessary paperwork and scheduling our first session!
-
I meet with individuals for a 50 minute session and couples for a 60 minute session. We can discuss how often sessions will occur during our consultation meeting to best fit your needs and support you with reaching your goals.
-
If you are late for the scheduled session, the session end time remains the same and we will meet for a shorter session. If I am late, I will extend the session time to ensure we meet for the full 50 or 60 minutes. If you need to cancel please do so with at least 24 hours notice. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show for a scheduled session, you will be charged a late cancellation fee. I understand that life can be full of the unexpected, let’s just stay in contact.
