Bespoke Couples Intensive Therapy Tailored To You

Why Couples Consider Intensives

You and your partner love each other, but you may be feeling disconnected or noticing changes in your relationship that feel hard to manage. You want to reconnect, but feel like you don’t know where to start, and weekly couples therapy makes progress feel like a distant dream.

Bespoke intensives can feel like months of therapy in a much shorter period of time. This is a good fit for couples who are looking for something beyond the weekly sessions offered by traditional couples therapy. Intensives can also lay a foundation for ongoing support for those looking to jump-start their couples therapy journey.

Challenges Addressed in Couples Intensives

Bespoke intensives support couples navigating a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Ongoing conflict and difficulty with conflict resolution

  • Communication breakdowns and unmet needs

  • Preparing your relationship for parenthood and postpartum

  • Changes in intimacy or desire

  • Stress related to work, parenting, or life transitions

Bespoke intensives offer a full day of support tailored to your relationship’s needs and goals, allowing you time to settle into the space, explore your relationship, and practice new skills to take home, creating space for strengthened connection.

How Bespoke Intensives Work

We will start with an intro meeting to learn more about you, your partner, and your relationship. I help you establish shared goals, whether that means improving communication skills, addressing shared responsibilities, or preparing your relationship for parenthood.

From there, we will meet at my welcoming office space in Mill Valley, where you will deepen your understanding of your relationship, practice new skills to take home, and develop a foundation for lasting growth and connection.

Our First Meeting

We will start with a 30-minute video session to explore your relationship and how you want to feel after the intensive experience to establish shared goals.

This is space to learn more about you, your partner, and your relationship, and to explore the foundation you are looking to build for lasting growth and connection.

What Happens Next

After we schedule the intensive session, I take the goals created during the video session to develop a custom treatment plan and curriculum for the full-day session. This includes topics we will cover, exercises that allow for expression and promote growth and connection.

This process is planned intentionally, allowing space for both partners to express their experiences while working toward reconnection.

The Day Of

Over the course of the day, you will each have space to express your needs and desires, practice new methods of communication, and engage in exercises that allow for increased connection. The goal is for you to go home with the tools you need to continue to grow together.

Some snacks and water will be provided, and there are nearby restaurants and grocery stores to go to during the lunch break. You are more than welcome to bring your preferred snacks and your favorite water bottle.

Couples intensive therapy can be rewarding and also intense. I recommend doing your best to get enough sleep the night prior and eat a filling and balanced meal in the morning before the session to allow you to show up as your most grounded self. In addition, I encourage a plan for gentle self-care after the session, we can explore what this looks like during the day.
