Individual Therapy for Navigating Your Twenties

Therapy for your Quarter-life Crisis

Are you in your early twenties and feel like you're supposed to know how to be an adult, but haven't really figured out what that even means? Loving your newfound freedom, but also feeling a bit lost? I can help you navigate this confusing time as you transition to adulthood.

It can be overwhelming to feel like you’re supposed to know what to do for the rest of your life when you’re still working on your college, job, or next weekend’s plans. On top of that, now your friendships are changing, your parents are letting you “figure it out”, and you’re suddenly supposed to know how to do taxes or plan for retirement?!

Everyone keeps telling you it gets easier, but when? Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, or working on building practical skills, I can support you with reducing the dread that can come with being in your twenties.

Reasons You Might Seek Therapy

People seek individual therapy for different reasons in their twenties. I can support with the following:

  • Depression counseling during periods of low mood or disconnection

  • Stress related to changing relationships with friends & family

  • Practical tools & life skills that feel overwhelming on your own

  • Support with identity exploration and emotional growth

Talk therapy can provide a steady, compassionate space to explore your experience, and learn new skills as you navigate adulthood.

My Approaches

For my work with young adults, I blend my years of experience as a case manager working with young adults and my approach as a trauma informed, humanistic therapist.

I integrate several evidence based approaches depending on your needs. This may include CBT therapy, mindfulness practices, and life skills supports to help you enter adulthood feeling competent & confident.

What Happens in a Therapy Session?

Sessions are collaborative and paced to support your growth & learning at a pace that feels manageable. Together, we explore thoughts, emotions, patterns, and experiences while building practical skills you can carry into daily life. For skills development, there may be tasks to complete between sessions that we will review together.

I also offer mental health support for anxiety, depression, and identity shifts that can come along with being in your twenties.
